I know the chances of many central Ohioans being on to answer my question are small but I have to try. I'm in the market for a small, casual dining table and chairs. Also, I am looking into the possibility of buying a small sectional. Where in Columbus give the best deals?

I'm having trouble deciding if this will look ok. My living room/dining room is L-shape, each on 1 end of the L with the computer station in the corner of L. My sofas are dark brown leather and beige microsuede, tv stand is brown-black, a couple walls more in living room part are an apple green colour, all other walls are white, curtains are dark brown, beige, apple green (striped). The table I would love to get is white with white chairs, silver legs on both, but I'm concerned it won't look good next to all the beige/brown, neutral tones I have going on in living room. What do you think? I really love this tabke b/c it's big (can seat 8), casual looking, and it's melamine so scratch + moisture resistant. The ceiling fan above where table will be is white, and there is some white in the artwork I have in living room. I was thinking I could put a decorative bowl of green apples on table and/or some dark purple candles (my other accent colour in living room)

Please help me. I am so confused about my living room.I want it to have an arabic casual feel. I have peach walls so I was thinking about dark brown curtains and sofa cover Orange Rug Yellow or White coffee table Slipcovers on the dining chairs, as they are black. White is included in many places and there are gold fixtures. Please suggest something really good. Thanks

I've looked at so many chandeliers that I'm cross-eyed, lol, and I can't make up my mind. I'm looking for a transitional style to "casual down" the dining room. Thank you for your opinion. Where can I look for a casual dining set in Houston? Does anyone know any good Harwin store that they recommend? I tried Walmart and Target and believe it or not.. .IT'S EXPENSIVE!!! My price range should be NO MORE THAN $100.00... I know... I'm cheap... but I honestly don't care if it's used. I have searched craigslist.com and ebay.com and nothing... HELP!!! I'm moving into my first place soon!!!

How durable is pine for a kitchen/casual dining table I ask because I want to build a table to math some chairs that I have and the chairs are pine. I originally thought oak would be the best, but I want it to match the chairs. And, needless to say, pine is more economical. I just want to make sure that if I put the effort and cash into designing, and building the piece, I will have it for many years to come. So, if you have a pine table that you use everyday, how has it stood the test of time? Or, if you know alot about wood what are your thoughts?

It has beige/tan carpet, med oak furniture and is between office which is lt/med green (garden fairy Lowes) and foyer which is dark taupe. Reds seem too formal, I hate pink. Overall house is casual and coastal, greens & tans. Orange seems too jarring. No windows in the room. Chair rail and trim in white. Could do different colors upper and lower wall.
