The cushions on my dining room chairs are stained (not removable) What can I do to give them a makeo
The dining room table has a clear glass top, cast iron looking base, chairs match except they have a light beige cushion that is attached. They are all stained and looking a mess. What can I do to give them a makeover? I would like the cushions to either be all black or maybe red or orange. How do i go about this? Any artistic crafty ideas?

It's very easy to re-upholster the chairs.
Turn the chair over, unscrew and remove the 4 screws and remove the seat cushion.
(you may have to peel back fabric to expose screws)
Cut fabric 4" larger than the cushion.
Lay cushion up-side-down on top of the back of the fabric.
Wrap fabric tightly to the back of the cushion like a present and staple in place.
Then re-attach cushion to the chair.

First of all, cushions.....are removable...you just have to look harder to see how they are attached.
Once you get the cushions off.....cover them with different fabric and reattach the cushions to the chair.

Here's a great site with step by step instructions to makeover your chairs.
