I have a small dining area in my casual maple kitchen. A cherry dining set was a gift. How do I make

You could hang photos framed in both cherry and maple (or wood finishes that look like them) on the wall of the dining area, and/or add cherry accents in the kitchen (canisters, cutting board, knife block, paper towel holder).
You can also cover the table with a nice tablecloth to cut down on the amount of cherry color showing.
When you have two main colors like this that don't match, it helps to intersperse mixtures of the colors throughout so it gives a cohesive style.
